NOISE

A course project in Methodology - a class centered on structured conceptual thinking. We worked through a Double Diamond process, moving between expansion and refinement, to build a visual language rooted in a personal encounter with noise.
I began from electrical noise in public space — the graphics, symbols, and warning signs of high voltage we walk past every day. I let the research drift into layered digital work: repetition, distortion, and imagery pulled from those familiar visual codes.
The final output is a series of three posters for an imagined electronic music festival. The typography itself was hand-sprayed and photographed back in — the same technique used to mark those symbols onto walls and poles in the street. The result is loud and sharp, moving in tension with the imagery beneath it, and the color system leans directly on the fixed palette of electrical signage: reds, blacks, whites and yellows.
